May Gala in Support of Clarence T.C. Ching Hope Lodge Hawai’i
Honolulu –February 22, 2022 – Honolulu – The 9th annual Hope Gala Honolulu is set to take place in person on Saturday night, May 7, 2022, 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., at the Sheraton Waikiki Ballroom. This year’s theme is Midnight in Waikiki. Attendees will enjoy the ambiance of a sophisticated evening in Waikiki, known for its decades of sun, glamour, and leisure surrounded by the beauty and culture of the Hawaiian Islands. The event will feature a themed three-course meal and specialty drinks, with live music, and the opportunity to bid on unique items during the Live and Silent Auctions. The over 300 guests are encouraged to wear their finest “Aloha Chic” cocktail attire.
The Gala will also celebrate the 5th anniversary of opening The Clarence T.C. Ching Hope Lodge Hawaii, on Oʻahu, the only Hope Lodge in the Western United States, which offers free temporary housing to cancer patients and their caregivers traveling 40 or more miles to receive treatment: It is a home away from home. Since opening in late 2016, Hope Lodge Hawaiʻi has served almost 1,000 unique cancer patients from all the Hawaiian Islands, American Samoa, and other Pacific Islands.
All proceeds from this gala will benefit The Clarence T.C. Ching Hope Lodge Honolulu operations.
