SAVE LIVES: Volunteer Drivers Needed

Transportation is key to cancer care. Donate your time to drive a cancer patient to their treatments.

For those who cannot drive themselves or have no other means of getting to their treatment, our Road To Recovery® volunteers donate their spare time to give cancer patients a much-needed lift. Even the best treatment can’t work if a patient can’t get there. That’s why a successful transportation assistance program can be a tremendous, potentially life-saving asset!

Check out why Maui Island resident, Jo-Anne is honored to be a Road To Recovery Driver:

“As a recent retiree with time on my hands, American Cancer’s Road To Recovery program gives me the flexibility to drive as often as I want and choose where and how far I will drive. Providing transportation reminds me of how blessed I am to have my own good health. Patients, as well as their families, are so appreciative of this service, giving me an enormous sense of helping. Without us, many of them would not be able to make their critical appointments.”

Aloha,
Jo-Anne
