ACTIVITIES ON THE TRACK

SURVIVOR’S VICTORY LAP
If you have or had cancer, you are a SURVIVOR and you have beat Cancer. Share in this victory by walking around the track with other survivors during the OPENING Ceremonies. We want to CELEBRATE YOU!

CAREGIVERS LAP
After the Survivors victory lap, we welcome all caregivers of past or present cancer patients to take a lap. This will acknowledge all the people who have helped cancer patients through the good times and the not so good times.

TEAM SPIRIT LAP
After the caregiver lap, teams should line up on the track near the stage. Please bring your team sign or banner with you.

CARTOON LAP (7 PM)
Dress up as your favorite Cartoon Character.

SUPERHERO LAP (9 PM)
Dress up as your favorite superhero as we SAVE lives from Cancer.

“CHANGE IT UP” LAP (10 PM)
Let’s not get tired of seeing the same scenery as we continue to walk the track. We will stop and “HULI” or turn around and walk in the opposite direction.

SLOW MOTION LAP (11 PM)
Walk these laps soooo sloooowww that you’re almost in reverse.

“ROAD TO RECOVERY” PARADE & CAR SHOW (12 MIDNIGHT)
Each team designs/decorates a cardboard car (or any other modes of transportation). You may also use other building materials. This hour is to promote American Cancer Society’s Road to Recovery volunteer driver program. Car must be able to hold 2 people. Please check in your “Car” to the Car Show by 10pm. (Each participating team will get 1 point. Winner will get 20 points.)

LIGHT THE NIGHT TO FINISH THE FIGHT LAP (12:45AM)
Wear neon and use glow sticks as we LIGHT the night.

PAJAMA LAPS (2 AM)
Each participant will wear their best pajamas and walk the track. Please remember this is a FAMILY event!

COUPLES BACK TO BACK LAPS (3 AM)
Find a friend, link arms and walk around the track.

BEDHEAD LAPS (4 AM)
Each participant will walk around the track with their wackiest BEDHEAD.

MAIN STAGE EVENTS/ACTIVITIES
RELAY JAIL & BAIL (6:00 – 10:00 PM)
You can send a person to our Relay Jail for just $1.00. For every dollar, one person will spend 10 minutes in our RELAY Jail. They can easily bail themselves out with $5.

LIP SYNC BATTLE (7:35 – 8:15 PM)
One entry per team (individual or team). Sing your hearts out as you battle in our “Lip Sync Battle”. **Bonus points for using costumes** Sign up by 6pm

CARTOONIE PRINCESS (11 PM)
Gentlemen do their finest impression of a CARTOON PRINCESS. (Each participating team will get 1 point. Winner will get 20 points.) Register from 9-10pm. Popularity contest starts at 10:15 PM.

FROZEN T-SHIRT CONTEST (1:30 AM)
Teams will need 1 representative. Frozen T-Shirt to be provided. (Each participating team will get 1 point. Winner will get 5 points.)

MUSICAL CHAIRS SCAVENGER HUNT (2 AM)
When the Emcee calls out something to be found, players must find that item and get back to the chairs before they are full. One chair is removed each round

LOOK GOOD, FEEL BETTER FASHION SHOW (3 AM)
Each team will have one selected member dressed up in their fashionably creation using newspapers and duct tape. Be CREATIVE! (Each participating team will get 1 point. Winner will get 5 points.)

MORNING WAKE-UP CALL (5 AM)
Join us as we help to energize your body as the sun rises.

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO EARN TEAM SPIRIT POINTS
CAMPSITE JUDGING
Each decorated campsite will be judged on originality and creativity keeping with the Relay For Life of Windward O’ahu theme “Toon Out Cancer”.

TEAM SIGN/BANNER CONTEST
Decorate a team sign or banner and show it off. These will be judged while walking around the track. Be creative and show your team spirit relating to this year’s theme.
