The American Cancer Society, in partnership with healthcare systems and nutritionists on Oahu, is pleased to present free Eat A Rainbow cooking demonstrations to the public during the month of March, which is Colon Cancer Awareness month. Learn to cook a rainbow of of colorful vegetables and fruits, and eat your way to good health. Get started today and learn some healthy recipes!
Colon cancer can actually be prevented through screening. Polyps can be removed before they turn cancerous. Screening can also improve survival chances dramatically – colon cancer’s survival rate is 90 percent when found early.
